The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) was established in 1988 under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. C-DAC is a leading R&D organization at the forefront of IT innovation, specializing in high-performance computing, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and health informatics. It plays a pivotal role in advancing India’s IT landscape and has developed cutting-edge technologies for various sectors. In 1993, C-DAC established the Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS), which has trained over 300,000 students in postgraduate and diploma programs, contributing to the global ICT industry.

The MET Institute of Information Technology (MET IIT) in Nashik offers world-class education in IT. Established in 2007, MET IIT has trained over 3,000 software professionals in cutting-edge technologies.
